Good Times

Hello all...it is a good day here at Myers Farms. The kids are working diligently on their school work. Probably no combining will be going on here, because the sky is spitting rain. But, that is ok, we know the beans will get done and the corn isn't going anywhere.

Doug is working to move the dry beans out and taking them over to store at another location. It is a timely process, but something that must be done. He will probably be done within the hour then we are going to find light fixtures for the bonus room. I also have been putting off getting groceries, so we might pick up a few while we are out. I am planning a big Sam's run in K-zoo on Wed., so I will only pick up the basics. I have been wanting to clean out the cupboards and start over with some can goods. With the complaining going on that we have NOTHING to eat, even though we have freezers full of items, it may be time. It helps sometimes to let them be creative in coming up with meals with less choices.

We had a good weekend. Saturday we met friends at a coffee shop in Jonesville. It was good to catch up with them. The Christmas program at church is also coming together nicely. We had some new faces this week added to the mix of voices...and they were fabulous! Katie had a Fall 4-H party and enjoyed her time there. Erik is also is working to learn the new moves for the dances for the Christmas program and is actually having fun doing that. (But I don't think he would admit it!) :)

Well I need to run...have a very good day all...Be Blessed!
